Im looking to map some knobs of the Analog key to my Komplete Kontrol S49MK2, but I can’t find the midi chart for the AK… does anyone have it and can share?
thx in advance

It’s comprehensively documented in the manual

Though I’m a bit confused about the chart, for example Filter 1 Frequency : Encoder A, CCMSB 18, CCLSB 50 …range I get
I have mapped some other HW to the Komplete Kontrol but the chart was simple, for example Filter Cut OFF CC 74 …
so I don’t know what CCMSB and CCLSB would actually mean in this case…what CC number the Filter Frequency in the AK would be ?

I don’t own an AK, but on appendix D-5 of the manual the CCs for the cutoff of two filters seem to be listed as cc 18 and cc 19, but I could be reading that wrong. Maybe an actual owner can be more helpful.

Yes, CC18 controls filter 1 cutoff. Just use the numbers listed under “CC MSB” if you’re looking for simple cc control (i.e. most midi controllers).

Coarse and fine

MSB is most significant byte and LSB is least

MSB on its own gives a ‘coarse’ 7bit ‘typical’ 0>127 sweep of the full 14bit range of control, the fine/LSB has a 7bit value but its remit is local over a 1bit ‘equivalent’ range (n>(n+1))

The A4/K also has the ability to be addressed using both an MSB and LSB pair as part of an NRPN message string such that fine control over the whole range is possible

Thank you, though for some reason this isn’t working for me…I used the Komplete Kontrol plug in , inserted the Analog Keys plug in in it and I can easily map controls to the Komplete Kontrol, but I’m trying to avoid using the Komplete Kontrol as a wrapper to map the AK plug in, instead I want to create a template for the AK as if it was a HW synth , but it’s not working :frowning:

Depends on certain settings, such CC reception activated or not.

Check AK MIDI Global Settings (and manual if you don’t know options).

Edit : Overbridge ? Ok I’m off.
