Hi!
As overbridge works pretty well in terms of mixing the audio streams from the rytm and the a4 there is the question whether this is a possible solution for live use. Obviously a computer always is risky but as long as it is just mixing audio streams I didn’t have any crashes yet.
Anyway obviously when using it for live performance there is the need to adjust settings within live (e.g. eq settings, levels, compressor settings, etc.)
Ages ago I used a digital mixer (yamaha 01v) for live and had the possibility to take snapshots which I cold trigger using midi events.
So I had a reasonably well mixed sound and could focus on the synths.
For Ableton I found kapture which seems to work ok but freezes my screen for 1-2seconds when switching presets and being not nice to use (e.g. bad preset management, no fades between presets etc).
So I was wondering if there is an alternative to this. It seems that the max patch isn’t developed any further and I don’t have any idea of max so opening the device and modifying isn’t an option for me.
As a lot of users probably are using overbridge now I guess that there is a demand for such a thing.
