Yeah, the stop sampling is an issue, but in my experience using the threshold record trick is good for most synchronized recordings. Single hits are definitely where it’s at as far as the DT’s ability to sculpt sound.

Buy a Roland SP-404mk2 and pair it with the DT. Stereo Sampling, 32 Voice Polyphony, 16GB Sampling Space, 999Bars per Pattern, a Hell of damn good EFX, lazy chopping,…

I sequence my gear with DT and Record phrase samples of my synths into 404. When i play live i only go with DT, 404 and x0xb0x to my gig.

I sequence the DN from the DT’s MIDI tracks. No pattern length change problems, no duplicate projects, no sequencing on two devices, no patterns to match exactly on both devices, no clock issues.

Same here. It also eliminates the “no kit” problem on the DN. I love being able to continuously work the same sounds on my DN while shifting patterns. Makes muting tracks on the DN much easier too.
