There are 2 things which I don’t like about this design :frowning:

  1. There are no holes for the vents (Analog 4)

  2. There is no space for the dust cover.

So if the unit doesn’t die by over-heating, then it dies by dust

My A4 has been sitti g in this enclosure for 5 months with no problems!
Maybe if you use washers there’d be room for dust covers

about 2 years no dramas here, tested outdoors, airlines, tight club spaces, studio. It integrates so well people ask if its actually one device.
Sits with stability on top of a 19" gigskinz rack case.

re: A4… nothing a decent drill and 15 minutes can’t fix.
re: dust, does any 2x elektron frame allow for dust cover?
Would be good though agreed.
I would argue the protection when travelling via the fold down mechanics trumps this issue, & I have one of the old OTs that doesn’t have the x-fader dust protector.
