Hello,
I’ve had my brand new Elektron Analog Four MK2 for less than a day and when I went to turn it on tonight, it is stuck on the start up screen. It shows the Elektron logo, 1.50 on the bottom right, and the letter “C” on the bottom left. I’ve cycled the power a few times, I’ve let it sit for 10+ minutes, and now I don’t know what else to do. Do I need to return this to Sweetwater?
yes
perhaps you could try to boot into check mode (hold func button while booting. read the manual for this). But I would give it back.
Or first try to update to 1.50A, it was a know issue in 1.50. Obviously if it’s frozen from the start, it might be a bigger problem.
Maybe update firmware to 1.51. I don’t know if it will help, but I think this new firmware eliminated the freezing bug. My A4 got stuck a couple of times and updating the firmware helped.
