Analog Four Reverb Impulses

I’ve made three 24bit 48000kHz stereo impulse responses of the Analog Four “Supervoid” digital reverb.

I tweaked the out-of-the-box setting of the Supervoid a little and used three different hi-pass settings and labeled the impulses “bright”, “cloudy” and “dark”.

Hi Lars,

Thanks for sharing these. I absolutely LOVE the A4’s verb, something very musically spacey about it that fits just right. I made a couple IRs of the A4’s verb a while ago. I sampled the reverb on INF setting with plans on doing a manual fade out, in the process about 50 seconds in the A4s verb did something strange and produced this really cool noise. I was never able to reproduce it…

Here it is, could be fun to sample and mangle with MD, OT, RYTM.

Which convolution plugin are you using?

Thank you dudes, that’s amazing!

I’m using “Reverence”, a plug-in that comes with Cubase. Tried to load your impulse but it seems there’s a 15 second limit…
What are you using?

That sample was an unwanted anomaly noise which happened when I was sampling an IR.

I’ll dig out my IRs and post them as well.

I use the built in Ableton IR (max4live one) and Plogue chipcrusher (requires hacking xml files to make presets but it has a convolution engine).

Aha… That was a bit embarrassing… :zonked:

Well, anyways, would love to try out your impulses.

No prob here are a couple I recorded, I just trimmed them since I had left a huge silence at the end:

thanks!

Great contributions!
The A4 reverb might be my favorite of all time, software or hardware.
