Analog Four usb midi

Hi, I just got an A4 mk2 and an iPad. I want to try to use the A4 as both an audio interface and midi interface for the iPad. I got both kind of working as I can sequence the A4 from the iPad. But I can’t seem to get the usb midi out of the A4 so I can sequence other gear. Has anybody done something like this?

a few things to check … have you directed midi out to include USB, plus have you enabled the midi out from the respective tracks ?

In the NOTES setup :

10.9.6 SEND MIDI

Will, when checked, send the tracks note on/off (NOTE, LEN) and VELOCITY, sequencer data to the Analog Four MKII’s MIDI OUT for control of external MIDI devices. The MIDI data is sent on the track’s MIDI channel that is set in the CHANNELS menu. For more information, please see “12.3.3 CHANNELS” on page 59.

• If TRK SEND MIDI is checked, the track sends the sequencer data both externally over MIDI and internally to the tracks sound.

• Only sequencer data for note on/off (NOT, LEN) and VEL parameters are sent over MIDI.

Yeah, i have enabled those things. The funny thing is that I can record the midi from the iPad, and when i play it, it does sequencer the external gear. Kind of thinking ita not possible to Get the direct midi out via usb.
