Hi i just bought an analog rtym mk1 and I’m having issues with the page key. Also new to this forum so i apologize in advance if this isn’t the right place for me to post this.
When i press the page key it doesn’t change the the page from 1:4 to 2:4 instead all four lights light up…
The lights are always dimly lit next to the page key but when i press the button they get brighter.
Im able to hit [FUNCTION] + [PAGE] then add Pages to the current sequence but i can access the pages individually.
Any suggestions or help would be great…
Are you in sequence edit mode with the red record button enabled? If you are then “page” should switch pages, if not then holding “page” enables fill mode and all 4 LEDs light up.
EDIT - I’m a AR MK1 new owner too and I’m still figuring stuff out so I feel your pain!
Im not sure… how do i know if im in sequence edit mode.?
Press the red record button and the LED above should light up. It’s the mode (I may have the name wrong) where you add/edit steps in your sequence. When this is enable, hitting “page” should cycle through the different pages.
When the red record button ISN’T enabled, then the “page” button is used for fill mode.
oh okay. Unfortunately the page button still doesn’t do anything when the record button is enabled. Im hoping there is a fix to this or im doing something wrong just picked up yesterday from a dude on craigslist would be a bummer if i had to give it back
OK so if you hit FUNC+PAGE and then hit the PAGE button once or twice to get the pattern to be longer, then hit NO then it should exit back from that pattern length mode. If you then hit the record button you should have your pages dimly lit e.g. 1:4, 2:4, 3:4 up to the length of your pattern with the current page brightly lit. If you then keep hitting PAGE it should cycle through the pattern pages.
If you then then hit the record button again (so the LED above isn’t lit) and then hold PAGE it should light up all the LEDs and that is fill mode, until you let go again.
If that doesn’t work I could suggest that you take some photos or a video and post it here so we can see what you’re doing.
