I use a Crave with a Digitone.

What are you trying to achieve? The Crave’s MIDI implementation is not very strong.

Oh just the regular filter and envelop control, nothing fancy.

Hey,

The only stuff I know how to control on the Crave over MIDI is the start/stop of the sequencer, the speed of the sequencer, and triggering notes.

To control things like the filter, I only know how to do that over CV.

Looking in the manual, there isn’t even a proper MIDI chart in the back. :cry:

The Crave has an ASSIGN-CV-Output, which can be internally set to 16 different modes. One of them is Midi-Velocity for example. See Page 63 of the crave quickstart manual. You can then use the velocity on the digitone to send a CV-signal to the Crave Assign Output and patch that into VCF Cutoff.
