DT on USB to iMac running OB, audio over USB into Ableton.
Ipad also connected to iMac.
MIDI going from DT to iPad and sequencing synths in AUM.
USB Audio from iPad back to Ableton.
Problem: timing differences between audio from DT and audio from iPad.

Hey, you can use the app „Midi Link Sync
„ works pretty good.
1 Connect DT with IOS Device over USB
2. Choose MIDI Link Tab in the App
3. Chose the DT in the Menu
4. Start DT and Hit Sync - the two timebars should sync up
5. go into AUM enable Link and it should Sync up
As you already connected the USB to the Mac and OB. How is the DT connected to the IPad? DIN MIDI?
My suggestion works when it’s connected DT USB to IPad. Other routing might be also work.

I’m already using MIDI Link Sync but it doesn’t help.
The iPad and DT are both connected to my iMac via USB.
There is lag between audio coming from the iPad compared to audio coming from the DT.
When I connect DT with iPad directly, there is no lag but I lose the ability to record the individual tracks because there is no USB connection to the Mac.
