Are you sure? Maybe you need two hands to do so, but deff doable 
MP3 sucks. I’m glad wav is the standard for such devices, honestly.
I actually read somewhere that the Octatrack was a follow up on the sampling capabilities of the MD UW, so probably much more sense pairing the Syntakt with a Octatrack I would say too.
Interesting thoughts by the way, thanks for sharing. I also wonder what made the prices from the MD rised on the last bunch of years as it was for long stacked on 650€ ish at least for MK2 no UW version, and now it just double its price… At least areounf Europe.
