audit sound browser through a running pattern

Hey there,

maybe I am missing something. AFAIK the only way to prelisten the sounds in the browser is to trig them manually. How can I make them audible automaticly whilst the sequencer is running. My attempt to searching sounds would be to create a random pattern and then find me trough the sound browser / pool without having to trig a button with every single sound I want to listen to. The ‘next-trig-next-trig…’ way is extremely annoying.
By the way, is there a chance to listen to the sounds in the pool while browsing it?

Manual says the only way to preview sounds in the browser is to hit the keys.
Another way would be to load each Sound, but that’s not really convenient.

I have to make some tests, cause I can’t remember my workflow right now.
I think I rely a lot on the tags and know my own sounds… So hitting the keys for the preview is rather ok when I need it.

Well I couldn’t find that particular info in the manual. Maybe the structure is a bit confusing to me.
So thanks for your reply, although it doesn’t make me happy.
Besides the convenience of ‘random-pattern-running’ search method over anoying manual triggering I sometimes like to simply test, how various sounds fit into a project. A shame, the only way to doing this is to load every single sound and then the next and…precious lifetime!

You can load sounds into a track from the browser by pressing Function + Yes (on other devices at least) - this keeps the browser open

If you like, all good, if not, reload previous sound or restore a saved state with it loaded (if possible)

Well, this could be a compromise. Thanks for the hint - I’ll test it out!
