It seems as if the auto channel cuts off the midi going out to external - unless of course the external controller is set to the same ch. as the external device - which defeats the purpose of the auto channel - also because the external device will sound regardless of what track you choose on the A4. For example, When using the auto channel on the MC707 (ch.1 for example), if you press the track 7 button, I can then control the external synth on midi track 7 with an external midi controller like the keystep or Novation Tracks set to ch. 1. I’m trying to use the track four button on A4 to switch to Minilogue XD (set to midi ch.4) But it does not work. No combination works. Am I missing something? Thanks
