Hi! I can’t figure out this one and I really want to be able to do it. I know its possible to automate fx and record them in the master output track. But how can I do it with the individual tracks?? I cant even record parameter locks from the Fxs section in the individual tracks, Im only able to record them dry its kind of a pain in the ass, now I just abandon the fx of the machines and just using ableton ones or from plugins.

Do you have an idea on how to do this, when Im in the arrangement view I can figure out how to use overbridge automation or parameter locks with the Fx section (as I know I can do parameter locks or record automation of filters, envelopes, lfos, etc.)

Theres no demo of elektron over using overbridge in a arrangement just poor clip view demos that automation is possible, but not about the practical use in a full production scenario.

Love overbridge by the way if I can find a practical solution for this will make it 100% perfect for me.

I have Rytm and A4 so the problem is the some for both.

I tried this a while ago and couldn’t find a solution. If the Overbridge VST had a different architecture so it was one VST instance per track it would likely be straightforward.

individual tracks are pre fx - so only automation of fx send, which I of no use to you - the only place to automate fx parameters is on the fx track (except overdrive if you think of that as an effect)

OB taps individual tracks pre fx - the effects are shared, so there’s no getting around this I’m afraid

Thats a shame I can deal with it though, hope elektron fin a solution for this soon. Hope they make a stable version soon for Bitwig.
