I was able to purchase just now. I don’t know if the site has just revived or if the timing was right, but I never got an error and proceeded to complete the purchase in about 1 minute. Perhaps now is chance may be.
PS. I started from scratch by adding Avalon to my cart a few minutes ago. The behavior of the site was much smoother than ever.

Yeah, they must have upgraded or fixed things to some extent. I just blazed through the order process. I ordered 2nd white w/ white LED version. I was super tempted to get a silver + white LED or silver + blue LED, but just didn’t want to risk issues or even more delays with the silver case and/or blue LED’s. White on white seemed like a relatively safe bet and I’m completely fine with that.
That said, I think March/April next year is pretty ambitious and I’m prepared for much longer. It is what it is and I’m not worried about not ever receiving a unit. Brian is the epitome of a one man operation and it painfully shows. Not making excuses for him at all as I think things could be handled a lot better, but I’m also giving benefit of the doubt. I think he’s well intended, but completely overwhelmed and the business is a labor of love vs. making a bunch of money. Have your own opinions, but that’s mine or at least what I’d like to believe.

It might be a stretch for you, but I’d really get some cartridges too if possible. At least the SEM if you can swing it (IMO the best one). I’ve already got a 2nd SEM and 2044 here waiting. It’s not my goal to sell either unit off, but I’m convinced these will easily sell years from now, especially if there’s cartridges along with it.

Any idea on the unwanted tax when importing form the US to EU?
If I take the commodity code (9207105000) listed on the abstrakt website - For the UK there’s is a 20% import duty and a 2% third country duty for places there is no trade agreement with.
I calculated the cost based on a silver w blue Avalon and 3 filter carts - some of the conversion amounts and the shipping period have to approximate as they might vary slightly.

I’m holding firm on SX Pro getting some, can’t be dealing with import hassles, red leds is a must for me, blue and white are too fatiguing to my eyes, and green is too represented here with Roland Aira stuff. Hoping to get all the carts too. Not banking on getting one though, but we’ll see I guess.
