Battery options for Model:Samples

I don’t even use a Ripcord cable, this more basic cable into an everyday power bank works fine. Its 1.5 metres though, but if you ever need to pick up your unit to move it around while its plugged in, you’ll appreciate the length.

Does that give any problems with power interruptions when you nudge the cable ? Looks like it might be an improvement on the one I have in that respect.

Actually now you mention it, the power does flicker and reset the unit sometimes if the jack is nudged. I put it down to a slightly faulty power pin as the myvolts jack is a fraction longer (making the connection a bit more wobbly).

Hey! do you know the model of the battery? as well as the brand? Can’t read it clearly.

It was just a cheapo USB battery bank I got on EBAY, any of them would do the job.

I wonder if there’s a rubber gasket that could keep it from going wobbly?

I’ve not found any good solution to either port.

My solution was to carve away at the plug so it more closely matched the one on the Elektron power supply. That’s improved things massively. No problems since.

Ah, perhaps I was moreso thinking of how wigglesome Elektron’s port is

Yea, I think in my case it was only wigglesome because the plug profile wasn’t allowing it to be fully inserted. Talking about the power supply port at the back BTW, not the covered battery port at the side.
