Beginner guitar

I’ve seen Harley Benton and Agile mentioned multiple times as low-budget options for Les Paul style guitars.

No personal experience with either brand though.

For a little more money, the Yamaha Revstar line has gotten positive comments here. There are humbucker and P90 versions of each model.

As others have mentioned there are a few Epi models that might appeal. I’ve got a P90 LP that sounds great. It plays well too according to an LP playing friend who had it for a couple of years as his back up. I’m more of a Fender/Squier fan and can highly recommend the earlier Chinese Classic Vibes but that not what you’re looking for!

Epiphone Les Paul Junior or SG should do the trick. LP JR is around $430 US brand new; bet you can get a used or “B-stock” for a fair amount less…

Thinking about buying a guitar again.
Anyone tried the JET JS-300 or JS-400?
For just €200,- they’re suppose to be really great. (and left handed!)
