I know I’ve been mentioned here a few times, so I wanted to say thanks as I just passed 4000 subs today, probably thanks to quite a bunch of you

I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this guy until today!
He makes his own diy modular synths and various junk electronics and shares a ton of his knowledge on his youtube channel. I might as well include a link to his album, which I guess could be described as some kind of analog proto-techno with an African flavor? It’s playful and strange and filled with beautiful imperfections. I love it.
The name Afrorack sounds familiar, i havent come across his music though…
currently on track no 2. Last modular and im loving it. really cool rhythms and grooves!

Past few days I’ve been really enjoying My Analog Journal https://www.youtube.com/c/MyAnalogJournal
Just super chill sets with some of the best music I’ve never heard. Dub, Jazz, Funk, Latin etc.
nice tutorials indeed
I’ve been doing these tutorials on hardware, and they’re brilliant for a broad overview of sub genres, especially the sort of stuff I’m into at the mo. Yes there’s extra Ableton stuff in there, and I’d be on that in a jiffy if I was learning it. But even just the musical elements are on point with these, which I haven’t yet found elsewhere, so they’re fantastic and deffo apply even if you’re not on Ableton.
Really good.
