Brand new at this. How do I get a big buzzy snare sound on my Model : Cycles?

I have better luck sometimes using Tone instead of snare. Crank the sweep, shape or contour all the way up or down until the noise comes out. Might be a little nasty at first but you can adjust around it.

Snare machine, Max distortion, PUNCH On, Sweep halfway, mess around with Contour and Shape until you find a sweetspot you like
if you shorten the gate length you can use gate on as well, try pitching the snare an octave lower to get it beefier
tone machine also makes cool snarws with an Envelope LFO on pitch
