To be honest, though. I do have a lot of gear. It’s stacked on itself all over my apartment.
I need to get another three tier stand to put the Grandmother, Prophet and Malevolent in a proper spot.

prophet makes keystep pro look like a casio!
I got a rack at Sweetwater by Hosa. And it’s just clamped onto a $20 lamp from Target.

I know! And it’s only a P6. Could you see if I had a P5? It has an added octave!
sweet, looks pretty useful. yeah p5 would eclipse ksp - literally and subliminally, you would stop seeing it altogether
You know, I still get a lot of use out of it as a controller. Probably a lot less now that I got an 88 key hammer action controller, but it’s a great way to play on the couch with Pigments or Analog Labs.
Or Spitfire Labs.
But the KSP has a way better keybed than that’s on the Malevolent.
I find the range of the velocity curves on ksp rather inflexible - it goes from sensitive to ultra sensitive and I guess for someone used to a real piano it’s fine, but for me I would prefer a light velocity setting or something I can set with an encoder value. Other than that I have no complaints, or at least not many complaints - it’s not quite as good with connectivity to other gear as was advertised… but I love that the drum sequencer only takes up 1 track.
I think I remember you talking about that.
I like the drum sequencer on the Beatstep Pro better. I had a cool sequence on the KSP, but found out you had to copy each part individually instead of the whole thing.
But then I got a Syntakt, and now I don’t even sequence with a Keystep too much. And if I needed polyphony, then I just go for the Maschine with its piano roll.
I myself am also trying to find more uses for it currently so it’s not an oversized oxygen 8
My Keystep served me well, but when it died I started using my Sequential Take 5 or Moog Grandmother as a controller and really do understand now the difference a proper keyboard controller makes.
Congrats on the proper hammer-action keybed @BLKrbbt! I’ve always wanted one!
It’s really great. I like the response of the weight. It adds to the expressiveness.
But I might like the extra octaves too!
I think the hammer action will make the synth action playing a lot better!
That’s three MiniMoogs on that stage, btw!
That’s awesome man! How was the show?
Background stage design looks awesome!
Bro.
Next level. The keyboardist alone was amazing.
I’ll upload it to youtube so you can see his solo.
you have to be incredibly confident to just jam and have a good time onstage like that.
I didn’t even know indiana had gambling, legal gambling that is.
Damn, killing it with vocals and keys at the same time! Those guys are dope. Missed the opportunity to check them out when they were in town a while ago and completely forgot about them it’s OT’s fault lol. Thanks for sharing man
