So I have a Bluetooth microphone. My mixer (tascam model 16) has Bluetooth built in and I can play stuff from my phone and even my field recorder.
And I’m curious why isn’t this technology used more and how far away are we from have cable free studios.
I’m guessing part of the problem is that you would need 16 Bluetooth signals in a 16 channel mixer but it doesn’t seem that far fetched to be able to figure something out like that.
Or even just wireless quarter inch adapters.
But also how do we feel about Bluetooth audio?
