C6 does not recognize .c6 files

I’m trying to drag a .c6 file into the C6 software (on OS X. C6 v1.4e). The .c6 file is ignored by C6. I can drag other .sys files into C6 and they work fine.

Am I doing something wrong?

The particular .c6 files I am attempting to use are from the Elektron Machinedrum Sound Packs
