Can DIGITONE's midi tracks use the step sequencer?

Hi all,
Pleased to be on this board. This is my first post. Loving my RYTM mk2 and looking forward to my DIGITONE arriving.

question:
can DIGITONES midi tracks (external gear) use the step sequencer / arpeggiator?

Hey hey,
Welcome to the forum…
The midi tracks use the step sequencer and appear very similar to the audio tracks when working with them, they just send signals instead of triggering sounds internally… I don’t believe the arp is available for the Digitones midi tracks however…

Thanks for answering. Bummer, but not a deal breaker. I can’t wait to get my little riff maker. Going to permanently have my boomstar hooked up to the input of the Digitone for a killer hybrid Analog/ FM solution.

I think you’ll have a lot of fun…
If you dig into the sequencer you can basically make midi tracks that sound like arps to some extent…
Roll your own custom arp… :smiley:
