Can I assign the same machine to multiple tracks?

As the topic mentions, I do not have a cycles yet and was wondering if this is possible to have 2 chord tracks for example?

you can have six of the same machine type if you like

You can even load all tracks with the same machine … vague robots has a few demos of this kind of thing.
