Hope you are all safe and well. 
So my question is this.
Can I use my Launchpad Pro Mk3 to add chords etc into the digitone sequencer?
My setup will be as follows (I think…this is how I use my current synths anyway)
Digitone on external instrument plugin in live, midi to relevent midi channel, midi from launchpad pro.
Firstly is this the correct setup and secondly can I send chord data from LP to grid record mode or live record?

That setup should work just fine. If you want to record notes into the Digitone you have to send it in on the Auto Channel (10 by default IIRC). On the DN, push and hold the step you want to add notes on then play the note/s you want to program on that step on the LP.

So once Ive added my chords/notes etc to the DN (thats the correct abbreviation right? via the LP, if Ive got it set up in overbridge (which I intend to do cus it looks magic) I will be able to press play and the DN will record in the overbridge tracks?
I’m at work right now so hopefully someone can answer before I get the opportunity to later today. Overbridge isn’t complicated to setup by any means but it’s more than I have time to summarize right now.
If the intention is simply to record the DN using Overbridge then it might make more sense to simply record your note/s to MIDI tracks in Ableton and use those to trigger the individual tracks on the DN. In this case, you would setup a MIDI track for each of the sound tracks on the DN (default channels are 1 - 4). If I have a bit more time this evening I can go over it all in a bit more detail.
If you do a search on the forums here you should be able to find the basics of Overbridge setup. I don’t use it often but it’s brilliant when I do use it!
