Is there any way to change the octave without using pitch?
For live recording that is.
Only way I found is to press SHIFT+TRACK - then use the DATA knob to scroll down … press it … change it.
This is tooooo much knob fiddling for my taste (for a 1 knob per function Model)
Pete’s suggestion works, but I believe only before a sequence is recorded?
The only way I’ve found to adjust the octave after a sequence has been recorded is via the [PITCH] param.
Yeah… all solution are not ideal.
Same Pb, no way to transpose existing track but pitch shifting …
Another tedious way is to manually change each trig’s note. Pressing the blue encoder an turning will shift an octave at a time.
Edit: I missed the live recording bit! I’ve done the above lots after recording.
aaaand another way is to play it all live and change octaves with your hand! Simple but effective! </irony off>
Yeah! Electron plz correct this !
Just sorted this out today.

This stands for keyboard transpose. It’s bit of diving, but will get you to where you can play live in the octave you want.
same problem here. would be cool to have a live transpose mode.
