Change pattern as soon as you press new pattern?

Been experimenting with this a lot, read a few threads on here and the manual that helps, but im still finding it tough to change pattern as i’d like -

Say i got a filtered chord on trig 15 out of the 16, in patten one it plays normal, but in pattern 2 its filtered. I’d like to be able to jump to pattern 1 on or around trig 15, so that the open filter version comes in before. So its not such a cut and dry change.

Anyone know how i would do that?

Apologies if thats not well explained, kinda hard to lol!

couldn’t you do that without having to change the pattern? try using Fill, putting the lock on step 14 and then putting the microtiming fully to the right, and in the trig page choose fill. then the trig on step 15 without filter with -fill. now only the step 15 is going to be played unless you press the “fill” button.

Or copy the filtersettings of step 15 previous track to a trigless trig on next pattern with the desired lenght and set on condition 1st

Thanks for the ideas. I’ll look into those. Appreciate it.

My problem is I’m all over the place with patterns, lengths etc. Need to experiment more.
