Chase Bliss Audio MOOD

OK, leaning towards the cosmos, probably makes for a decent pairing with the Lyra, cheers!

hi! question about mook MKII

  • when I enable the spread mode and use the delay (wet channel), i don’t hear a ping pong effect, unless i pan the incoming sound source left or right.

is this normal behaviour? because i have the feeling the panning is not required for the other wet fx and the looper channel on the mood (more clear pingponging audible when spread enabled).

no one ;)?

Did you set the width to full in the hidden options (time knob)?
Also engaged spread for both channels via the routing toggle?

if you mean the spread dip switch: yes its enabled
and the hidden options are at default (width maxed out)

I do hear ping ponging with the other wet channels, just not so clear with the delay, unless I pan the incoming sound. This might be intended, thats what I believe from reading the manual, just don’t understand why they do not include/enable a ‘standard’ ping pong delay

curious! is it a stereo source you’re feeding it?
will test myself this evening as I’ve moved on to working with MOOD and Digitone.

yes, was sending op-1 field through it via TRS cable

It’s so nice to find a new Knobs video in my YouTube feed.

Unsurprisingly, his video of the Mood MKII shows some of the best examples of why the upgrade is worth it. My personal experience with this pedal is similar to my experience with Ribbons- it sounds amazing, it’s packed with awesome and usable features, and it has bit of a learning curve (requires muscle memory) to fully grasp its navigation. Luckily, time is proving to me that this pedal can be intuitive.
