Does anyone have any examples of Cinematic style drums created with a machinedrum (not using samples)?
What do you mean by “cinematic”? Orchestral?
If cinematic drum is something like a tribal drum with long tail, maybe you can try EFM Bd and XT, long decay with ramp and reverb. It wil be a bit ethnics or kodo-ish style. The P-I Bd with long dec+rev idem with P-I toms can be “cinematics” too

Yeah I suppose orchestral is a good description. I just did a quick google and found this video:
I think that is what I’m hearing in my head. I figured it was just reverb and some gq eq. So just wondering if this kind of thing can be achieved on the MD, hoping more so to hear it.
Layer is usefull to provide a good double structure drum.
