I’m sorry about the CXM 1978. I hate to say it but it’s worth every penny :slight_smile: I don’t actually use it much as a traditional reverb yet, but apply it to open up the mix and just spread it out over the room. I guess that’s what a reverb does, tho :slight_smile: but you can hardly hear it, unless I take it away, and then it all suddenly feels veeery dry. And the subtle reverb delays add sooo much to the space.

@dcsux thanks, yeah, I think Drift’s becoming my favourite, actually. I hesitated a long time before I went for the CXM, but I don’t regret it for one second. It’s pricey, but seeing as I don’t have any reverb at all, this is probably the only one I’ll ever get. It does a lot more than just add reverb-y stuff :slight_smile: or I guess not, but it does it in many different ways, thereby widening the application for what you can use a reverb with.
