Recently when I’ve been using the digitakt if I have two tracks land on the same step such as a pad and a bass drum or hi hat. The two sounds clip each other and distort a bunch. I don’t remeber it ever being the case that this has happened and looking at videos online it doesn’t seem to happen in their videos. I’m wondering if it’s always been this way and I’m just dumb or if it’s an issue on my end. Any help is appreciated.
I had a similar issue (but perhaps more extreme) where all of my patterns were seemingly distorting (even on lower levels). This happened across all projects including the factory patterns. I troubleshot my whole system and I’m pretty sure it came down to something about the output stage in the digitakt. It’s currently being assessed for repair so I await a verdict but I have a replacement and it’s not doing it at all.
