Connecting iPad to Model Cycles but keeping iPad audio separate?

I searched for an answer but didn’t see it. Apologies if I missed it.

So I’m connecting my iPad to Model Cycles via USB -CCK which works a treat except it also means that the iPad audio comes out of the Model Cycles outputs instead of out of the normal iPad headphone jack.

I checked the settings on the M:C but didn’t see any that would change this behavior. Is it possible to keep each devices audio separated?

Nope, you can only use one audio interface at the same time in iOS. So either internal audio, or a USB c audio interface, or a class compliant audio device.

It would be cool to use the iPad as a mixer for a digitakt, MS and MC, but that’s not apple’s plan.

You can use multiple outs and ins if you have an iOS audio interface with multiple outs and ins though.
