i want to control Harmonics on SYN1 from midi CC. how do i send this message with normal CC gear? (in this case Morningstar MC6/MC8 controlllers)
i understand i need to send two different CC-messages, but im not really sure what. help anyone?
these are the numbers from the manual.
Harmonics MSB: 17 LSB:49 NRPN MSB:1 NRPN LSB:76
Don’t have a digitone but having used NRPN on Digitakt… the MSB CC number should act like coarse tuning (1-127) and MSB as fine tuning (.01-.99) on a parameter. NPRN does the same for parameters that don’t have both the MSB and LSB values, so I don’t think there’s a reason for the inconvenience here (NRPN messages take 4 CC sends, and you can search NRPN on this site for a few explanations, but again here the CC messages should get you the same result without the trouble…)
