It is Bandcamp Friday and I realized that I never gave this project its own thread.
This is another short beat tape. These are a little more traditional than the last time around. This is sample based hip-hop. There are heavy drums. There’s a lot of low pass filtering.
As for the nuts and bolts of it all, these are beats that I originally made in January on the Circuit Rhythm. They were then taken apart and put back together using both the Circuit Rhythm and the Digitakt.
This project was me learning how to use these two machines as one unit. What you’ll hear are melodic samples coming from the Circuit Rhythm and drum samples coming from the Digitakt.
The Digitakt is in complete control of the Rhythm and like my last project, 64, it was put together as a single pattern chain.
