This turned into that . Still no idea what it is. The mix is muddy as hell, too. But not yet swampy enough.
more Lyra noise
Asynchronous Subharmonicon loops with Digitakt. Still only wanting to use one-shot mode
OT jam playing around with a chopped up Digitone into Particle noodle.
Track 2… man, this DT update is ace.
I never bothered really sampling my guitar n bass into the DT as it was such a pain with no guarantee it would even work so I stopped bothering after number of failed attempts nudging tracks constantly… now I can easily make the indie album I’ve wanted to make all on the DT, a creative breeze…
This is delightful, looking forward to that album!

One-shot mode is 98% of what you need! The new machines have specific uses. I view them as a marker laid down, for future evolution and for siblings.
Maybe be more judicious with the delay? And some highpass on the second filter to carve away low end. I know you didn’t ask for advice, sorry if it’s unwelcome.
Hey, much appreciated. I know this usually doesn’t happen in here very often. Many thanks for sharing an opinion.
Some sequences I wrote out tonight, and jammed, wrote drum pattern fresh too. Kinda dig it.
Behringer RD-9, Behringer Neutron and Korg Minilogue sequenced by Beatstep Pro.
If you want to clear it up a bit, take some lows out of the kick. Also it’s very reasonant, knocky. If thats an effect youre after cool, but its overpowering in the intro, and clashing with the nice muddy bassline.
Mix the sub bass lower, it’s too loud. The main bass riff, very nice. Just feels like you’ve got 3 things fighting for a place in the low end.
There can only be one
Just my thoughts like. Tell me to fuck off if you want.
Dig this, what did you use to make it?
Thanks man !
I use A4 for drums and percussive sounds and also to sequence Typhon and MS 20 mainly.
And some additional pads from ms2000 and Argon8
This is something I made the other day, this was just the RD-9 and the Minilogue. A friend of mine is lending me the minilogue, when he takes it back, I am pretty sure I am going to buy one, he sold me on one hah.
Thanks, always good to read some of the things I should probably keep reminding myself a bit more often. Balancing frequencies feels like an eternal struggle with dawless setups. But maybe it’s also that I just love bass a little to much and suck at designing appropriate sounds.
