I disagree. Personally I find it easier. Bass synths do bass. Everything else is EQ 'ed so it has no low end.
Kick drums have just enough lows to have some weight but ultimately punch you in the chest. Snares smack you in the face. Hats sizzle past your ears.

Again, thats my way of doing it for my taste.

Completely agree with you. Strict approaches make sense and will for sure help adding some clarity to the mix.

figured out how to record single tracks, MID, audio and complete scenes in Ableton Live 11. Now I am much happier and having easier time re-learning this DAW! Some ambience.

cool weird tones! I just finished deepening my knowledge of Ableton Live 11. Now it make more sense the second time around. What is max live for versus the standard edition of Ableton Live?
