I’m getting to know the NINA. I’m building Layer by Layer but I have some Tracks in the oven for my next release before going into the NINA Project.

Alright, haven’t used MIDI yet, but I’ll probably hook it up to the laptop this week and see if I can sequence it from Max.
There have been two instances of it not working properly and having to be restarted, something seems to happen to stop the envelopes triggering when I switch from drone to gated mode. Haven’t been able to reproduce it reliably, so probably user error.
Pleasantly surprised by the build quality, but there are a fair few little annoyances using it, which I’m sure you’re aware of.

I dont think its user error… I think if the Osc are driven too constantly it does something to the envelope causing it to drone. And it is an infrequent occurrence unless you start routing too many things to the board it seems like, then it will happen every 10 mins or so.
I like her alot… but it feels like we are the early pioneers of first gem PWM gear… I have a feeling if they ever go for a next gen device, these will be addressed.
I was hoping for a firmware update… but there isn’t even a manual yet… so…

It’s pretty unlikely I’ll keep mine for that long. I’ve only really got it to stand in for my Polivoks while it’s being repaired. I like it, but it ain’t a Polivoks.

Did you find your answer about entering Notes on the Sequencer from the Virus Keyboard?
I found this in the Virus manual (don’t know if it’s relevant, though) :
MIDI Volume
Disabled, Enabled: Specifies whether MIDI CC#7 (volume) will be recognized.
Also, when you tried with the DT, did you enable Receive Notes in the MIDI Config of the DT?
