I had a similar issue. But it was a cross of 2 lines of deadpixels. It went away this winter. But returned recently. I think mine is a connection problem with humidity or something.
Anyway I bought a new screen direct from elektron to save shipping the unit and was super reasonable price, however it will take a competent tech to solder. I haven’t got round to getting it fixed yet as the problem went away. I was going to try logitrinics in Melbourne were I am. I haven’t used them before or know of anyone that has used them, just read about them them on a local forum.
Hopefully overbridge will arrive soon and lessen the need for a quick repair.
Interesting, it’s been very hot in Sydney so maybe that’s what’s caused it… its literally sitting on a desk, one day it was fine, the next day, was not.
Unfortunately OB isn’t supported by my current laptop. Opening the Beta version of OB2 completely crashes my Mac every single time
I’ll get in contact with Elektron and suss out a new screen Thanks…
I had a similar problem, one years ago. A vertical line was black in the near middle of the screen. But few times later, it get normal. Since my screen is ok. I don’t remember having change the OS. I was happy but surprised.
I experienced this earlier this week with my Analog Keys, had 1x vertical and 1x horizontal lines of ‘dead’ pixels. Was thinking i’d have to get a new screen fitted
Dunno if the following actually ‘fixed’ it or if it’s just conicidence, but starting the AK in test mode and alternating seq trig buttons 1 +2 to fill the screen with black pixels seemed to do the trick for me.
