Deconstruct / Reconstruct

I take a lot of stuff apart, most of it gets put back together.
If I get new (used) gear, I take it apart, clean it, service it and then reassemble.

While I’m certainly not a good photographer, someone else probably is so I’ve been thinking we need a place to post a pic of our things we’ve broken down and then built back up - or not built back up, might be fun to see a few that got worse instead of better.

So, whether it was the bathroom you added in your basement or your grungy new piece of early 2000’s gear, how about adding a pic of the breakdown and a pic of the reconstruction for everyone to enjoy.

The SP-202 in question smelled like chainsmoker and had scratchy pots as well as some other minor issues which I serviced, now fully back up to speed. The pitch effect on these machines is incredible. Was unable to get the aged color out of the pads but after much effort all odor is gone and I can touch it without washing my hands.

So whatcha got?
