Define default settings for new patterns

Hi there,

is it possible to change the standard settings of every new pattern on the Digitakt and Digitone? I always have both inputs on 100 and panned to left and right. Would save me a lot of time if I don’t have to manually adjust this on every first pattern of a new bank/project, before I copy pattern 1 which already includes these settings at least after I have manually adjusted them.

You can start a new project and do this once for every first pattern in each bank. Then save this as a new project (called empty template or so) and use this as the starting point for new projects instead of creating new projects. This is also useful if you want to start new projects with specific midi settings or kits.

Edit: The digitakt also has the option to have the settings of the master page globally for each project.

Make a template project with your desired settings and save it somewhere then copy it to new project slot when needed.

Remember to :lock: the default project to prevent unwanted overwrite
