If you release a pack or if … i missed something you can post it here or send me a PM i will update this list - thanks to all of you to participate.

I, for now, only browse from the factory library ( OS 1.30A)
And it was exactly what i was waiting from FM synthesis.

• Very great for Bass (i love FM Bass)
• All sort of glass, plastic, metal, wood sounds
• Dubstep glitch and evolving harsh sounds
• Organ an amazing range of organs reachable
• Bells
• Epiano, FM piano keys
• Ambient percs, civilization weird things
• Chords (depending on algo & voices - but not immediate as analog one finger chords
• Pad/Strings (doable but i dislike the sound of it maybe @Floppydisk_Pirates will change my mind)
• Keys : Rhodes, Wurli (thanks to @Floppydisk_Pirates)
• Buzzyness sounds (thanks to the second one filter)
• Sure FM Kicks - a huge range seems logic as it all start with sine and little distortion
• Glass percussions like chime
• Music boxes, Vibraphone, Marimba (i don’t heard it but it should be convincing sound)
• Sweep (even if FM noise is not ideal)
• Video games alike sounds or sequences
• Layering (with unison option - probably more to play with here)

So my question to all of you :
(i would like to explore what Digitone is capable of… and what sound designer have already done… than the one i wrote above. )

Digitone - Synthesis Patch sheet (Printable PDF)

Hi there, this is ISO A4 size printable in colors or B&W… You can use it to quickly reverse engineering patch you like, to convert patches you like to the Digitone, to save the old school way your favorite patches in case of a sysex drama happen… it’s useful to me, generally i use this Patch sheet for faster table work and then i move it (when i have time) to a mac database.

This document is a tool. It’s useful for EQing, boosting certain frequencies, even notes, pinging for drum duties. I find it useful to know how often in hertz correspond the elektron values knob. Hope you like it

Digitone Synthesis Cheatsheet

This is the Digitone Cheatsheet.
I may enhance the template section, so if you print it you may have to print it another time when i will make the update. I may add 2,3 template as i have room for it… it was difficult to layout and put the maximum idea & tools. The Cheatsheet is focus on Synthesis so dont search for sequencer shortcuts, control all, conditions… i will make a DN Programming Cheatsheet as well as eLearning content focus on programming and sequencing. But for now, this is based on synthesis. I’m fully open to advise to make it better for refinement, or new addition if you think something missing and would be useful for “us”, users.

You can read informations in my post just below. You can wait for the next version as i will add 2,3 recipe in the template section of the Cheatsheet. It should be better printed and plastified (Front and back on 1 A4 sheet)

(Use it smartly) it’s guidelines and tools : not fixed values! your ears are judges to shape It’s here to help and open-up your synthesis journey with the digitone.
