Delete a single note / trig

This is a really basic question but I just cannot find it in the manual or searching in the forum (it’s probably there and I’m being dumb)!

How do you remove a single trig from a pattern?

For example, I am in record mode and I hold down 4 and press a G key on the keyboard. I now have a G note sounding on the 4th step of the sequence.

Now I realise I actually want that on step 5, not step 4. So I add to step 5 the same way, no problems. Now I have a G sounding on step 4 and on step 5.

So now I just need to remove the trig from step 4 - how do I do this? I mow that is a really basic question but I can’t figure it out or find any info on it - I must be missing something!

Hi!

go into rec mode and press that 4 until it’s not lit (one keypress to turn it off)
