Hey people,
I just got a MD mk II (no uw) and want to completely clear all banks of the factory drum patterns. Is this possible to do all at once? Thanks in advance!
EMPTY RESET
This reset will clear all kits, pat- terns, songs and global settings.
For +Drive equipped units, an empty reset will clear all kits, patterns, songs and global set- tings of the Battery backed memory. No samples will be erased.
If this is what you want, hold down the [FUNCTION] key while powering up the Machinedrum. Then hit Trig-Key “2”.
I don’t know if it’s possible to only delete songs and patterns while keeping the kits in a comfortable way tough 
Speaking for myself, I always liked building up my own kits from scratch, since the factory ones are a weak foundation to start from.
