I guess it would be more appealing too if it was something like an 808 used on a famous album because no two units sound the same. For digital stuff like MD tho, no point.
Sentimental purposes. Playing with your heroes toys.
That being said. 2000 for a MD mk1 is a price I wouldn’t play even if it was the last possession of my long dead ex-wife
