I pair Digitone with norns, TidalCycles and other (computer) programming gear. Obviously i enjoy sequencing MIDI notes as well as generating them procedurally.
What is also a load of fun is to sequence and/or generate MIDI cc.
I have made the following reference documents for driving NTS-1 and JD-08 with MIDI cc.
The idea is that the device in front of me, as well as it’s representation in my muscle memory organizes what the guide looks like. OP-Z is very conveniently designed so that it does not even need a guide, I can count almost all the CCs in my head as multiples of 4.
I am looking for ideas how to make such a guide for the Digitone, from the manual appendix B. My strongest intuition is to base it on the UI screens, not on the knobs and other hardware elements.
What do your non-tabular Digitone MIDI cc references look like, or do you know one online?
