Did I just erase a preset?

Hi all.

I had a really nice new crafted sound which I wanted to save. Looked up how, the advice at the time was to rename it and then export it. I realise the renaming part was unnecessary, so have I lost the original sound now? Or did it just rename the sound as a new sound?

If the original is lost, how can I get it back without wiping the entire drive+?

Not sure exactly what you’re describing here, but you can download the factory sounds via your Elektron account. When you register your device, the sound files will be listed under Sound Packs. I download them and file them away on the computer as backup, just in case. Then simply drag and drop in Transfer.
