Yesterday I noticed something quite curious - I have 2 midi tracks controlling drums on my Digitakt and I had two audio channels playing. Now the weird things is that when I click literally anything within Ableton Live, be it changing track selection with mouse or switching from arrangement to session view, it triggers the last 4 audio tracks on the Digitakt. It’s the first time this happened and I am wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar and how to avoid it.
Ableton has 3 checkboxes for midi out: track, sync, remote. You’ll want to deselect remote if you have it turned on.
Having this turned on is how devices like the Push and launchpad are able to control various parameters like volume and pan without mapping; the underlying messages being sent are still midi.
