After selling ALL my gear during the start of Covid to make ends meet, I have finally caught back up and am starting over.

My first two purchases have been a Digitone and a Digitakt.

Do people recommend the Digitakt into the Digitone for the Reverb and Delay, or Digitone into the Digitakt for compression?

Curious to know how others are setting it up.

Eager to get back to music making.

You can apply delay/reverb to external input on the Digitakt. You cannot avoid the compressor, though. That, and the possibility of separate delay/reverb settings on the two machines, might decide things one way or another.
