Curious to know how y’all be using the new EQ / notch filters on the DT.
Other than focusing certain freqs of a kick or tom for resonance and thump, and maybe sweeping a chord, what else can one do?

Sometimes I use it to remove an unwanted frequencie and resample to keep only the clean sample and next have the ability to use an lpf or hpf.

I find it nice to (de-)emphasize certain harmonics of a single cycle wave. Can make quite a dramatic difference in the mix if you remove just the second or third harmonic. Or boost the root frequency.

Notch filters are great on minor chords played at lower keys. Let an LFO move the notch up and down real slow, add reverb and delay and you got yourself some awesome dub techno chords.
