Granted, tripling the entire sound engine of the DN would be highly unlikely given the massive scope of such an undertaking, but in light of how much DT 1.50 just introduced, maybe not impossibleā€¦

This is a welcome and much appreciated update but I agree that the lack of kits / sound management stupidity of the instrument is what keeps me from buying one again. Itā€™s otherwise so capable though!

This makes me think that Syntakt could get a sample machine !?!

Crazy to think of. Iā€™d love the rytm to have these features.

But honestly. Looking at this. I think they will continue to update the small boxes and the bigger ones will be phased out. I hope not. As I want a new big flagship elektron. Donā€™t know what but I want one.

But these small boxes are so feature rich itā€™s insane to think of versus the bigger ones. This Digitakt is a powerhouse for the money. Damn. Blown away over the update.

This will be game changing for me. I was so close to getting an octa for splicing but didnā€™t want to bc digi does almost everything. Now it does this and moreā€¦ Iā€™m not sure you can move your splices around from what I can tell though, itā€™s just auto locked to the tempo

Slices canā€™t be moved/edited like octatrack , fixed grids is a good start though.

I think many are copying them from sd cards and dumping to +drives.
